Great kayak! Large enough to fit two adults and a small child (3-year-old boy). Extremely stable and excellent for building confidence with less experienced boaters. Planning to buy either a 300x or a 350fx once our son outgrows this arrangement.

Great overall boat. After having a 370 and enjoying it for 4 years I upgraded to the 380X. I have yet to take it into whitewater but it has and does everything it is advertised as. The quality is outstanding the seats are super comfortable. It is very easy to assemble and break down. I highly recommend this kayak to anyone who wants a great overall kayak. Time will tell on its overall durability. Looking forward to a long relationship.

I can only provide feedback on service and delivery and quality as we have not tried it yet. I commend you all on your order, delivery and service. This kayak is easy to

Inflate both manually and with the electric pump. As for the pump it would be great if there was an adapter for AC option. Based on my examination of the 380x it’s really well put together. Once we take it out for our first excursion will let you know how it handles. Btw, we also have the electric motor to try also. I purchased two deep cycle batteries 20 and 30Ah. I’m looking forward to determining how long I can run the water snake on the batteries.

I just took out my Explorer 380x for first time. I have been trying to decide should I purchase one for over a year, so i pulled the trigger.

I have been kayaking for many years in a hard shell kayak. My wife is not able to paddle any more, the securing of the boat to the car and lifting the kayak to the roof was becoming a hassle for me. As a result I stopped kayaking. I am in my 70's so I was looking for a solution because I wanted to get away from the masses on shore.

My biggest fears were inflating and deflating. I purchased the electric pump w/battery and it works great! Deflating was easy also. I chose carefully where I inflate and deflate. so that when it is folded, I do not have to carry the folded kayak. show full review ▼ Just lift out or back in.

Just lift out or back in.

Tracking was much better than I anticipated. Very well considering! Moved along at an acceptable speed. We hit wind and waves on the way back and the boat was very seaworthy!

You do have to dry your boat before putting away, I do most of that at home.
