I love this skiff, a little difficult inflating and launching at site but very stable and maneuverable on the water

Great fishing boat. Took it down to Cocodrie, LA last May for reds and speckled trout, then up on Green Bay, WI, and other lakes in Wisconsin. Solid as a rock, and just glides on the water with my 5 HP Mercury. Good investment, and able to pack into my Kia Sportage. I have used SeaEagle boats now for 20 years, and always happy with them.

Engineering Marvel! The rigidity of the skiff and stability on the water is like no other. I have fished in very small to larger boats and until your on this Skiff it's hard to imagine an inflatable performing and exceeding the performance of a rigid hull craft. We typically fish 3 people and even though it's not considered a craft for rough water it performed very well when a storm suddenly blew in and the wind went from 5-10 mph to 20-25 mph in a matter of minutes. There was never the concern or feeling the skiff would flip or roll. What I did learn was a gas motor would have allowed us to manuever and cut through the wakes better plus get off the water quicker. With 3 adults extending above a low profile boat you create a lot drag in a windy situation and a trolling motor is not going to plane a 16ft craft with 3 adults. This incident was one of my biggest concerns when buying this Skiff because I knew this would eventually happen but we felt safe were safe and we will continue to enjoy our skiff.

Everyone on the lake wanted to know where to get one. I’m very upset tho. I purchased the boat and had it stored, like many people would. I went online to see what engine capacity the boat was rated for. Learned that it was rated for 10hp. So, I purchased a 9.9hp motor for more power. Then put the boat together to find the transom states 6hp max. I called SeaEagle to get the truth and learned they changed the transom. My boat was only 3 or so months old and it was already outdated.

This is a boat that is often stored. People rely on your website for information. Be more specific. Had I not been misled by info on your website, I might have save a thousand dollars by keeping my 5hp motor I bought in the package instead of selling it and buying a 9.9 I cannot use.
