When I took the kayak out of the shipping box, my first impression was the material was a good quality. It reminded me of a zodiac inflatable. After checking everything and preparing the items for the first time, it took me about 10 minutes to actually inflate the Sea Eagle 330. I sat in it a few minutes, then broke it down and packed it away in the carry bag that I had.

A few days later, I took it to Hemlock Lake for my first on water experience. I found a flat section of ground with some grass and laid out the kayak. Pumping it up and getting ready was easy. The pumping took me about 8 minutes. I used the SEC seat that came with it. A few comments that I read about the Sea Eagle 330 said it was unstable. My first impression was the same. However, once I had a foot of water below me and a few full strokes I felt it was stable.

The Sea Eagle inflatable Kayak is wonderful. The delivery time was quick and the foot pump to inflate for me did the job. The material is very strong and easy to store.

This is a great Kayak that is well worth the money, I would however suggest that it be made in the USA if I were to buy another.

My SE 330 arrived a few days earlier than expected. I did my homework before set up. One of the skeg protectors had come off during transport and it was bent, but I heated it with a blow drier and straightened it out. I did have some trouble with the valve rings--I heated them in hot water and tried to stretch them with my fingers, but in the end I used a looped piece of twine around the ring and stretched it into place. Worked like a charm (just pull the string out once it's seated). It took only 8 minutes to blow it up with the foot pump my first time. I'm a 60 year old female in decent shape, and it was not difficult. I can easily carry it (in the bag, and once it's blown up). My husband and I both were in it for its maiden voyage, and we had enough room, but no extra. He's 5'10 and I'm 5'7. We were pleased with its performance. Also easy to paddle solo. Tracked well and stable.

Skip the bag. It fits in an Ikea bag and the straps are strong enough to carry it :)
