Very disappointed. Only used it one season. It was fun and worked well for that season, but the mold that grew on it (unlike my regular kayaks) was unremovable and made it unusable. Will not purchase one of these rubber vessels again.
As per pg 8 of the included instructions (www.seaeagle.com/img/InstructionalPDF/SportKayaks.pdf) we advise "Make sure that your boat is dry before storing your kayak for more than a few days, to remove any excess moisture that could cause unsightly mildew." and 7:25 of the video instructions: www.seaeagle.com/img/InstructionalPDF/SportKayaks.pdf
The only problem I've had with our Sea Eagle Kayak is that I don't have as many opportunities as I'd like to use it. E great thing is how easy it is to transport and setup when we do take it out.
these kayaks are excellent, we have used them on local lakes, lake Champlain as well as the ocean, the quality construction is excellent. We find the portability to take them with us is so much easier than taking our regular kayaks and they are every bit as stable and comfortable. Good purchase decision
We love our kayak. We use it every summer at a large lake. Known for the wind to come up on this lake but couldn't believe steady this kayak stayed and trust me I'm a big chicken but felt very safe coming back into shore. My grandkids took it out and was easily used. I would buy another seaeagle in a heart beat without a doubt not to mention reasonable price for excellent product. It has been easy to take and blow up in few minutes. No cons only pros on this product.
