We've had a 370 for about a year now; our first-ever "boat" of any kind. We use it on Lake Canopus in Fahnestock Park, NY; but we've also used it on Lake Taghkanic and Long Island Sound.

Without fail, every time we use it, we have great fun. I would say paddling in tandem and keeping things straight is definitely a technique to be learned and mastered, as is rowing in such a way as to not keep brushing the sides, because they are high for a kayak. I would recommend the "weaker" rower sit in front.

I'm not sure how much the skegs help but I don't have a baseline for comparison. In other words, bigger skegs MIGHT help with rowing in a straight line; but I'm not sure.

It's important to inflate the boat according to the scale included with the kit. The more rigid it is, the better it will perform in every way. Compared to a "hard" kayak, the inflatable is VERY comfortable; And a realistic, well-rehearsed time for beginning-to-end inflation is 20 minutes - boat, seats, etc.

I purchased this Kayak for my adult daughter to use on our lagoons. The first picture I got from her was out in the bay! She LOVES it. Her sister and brother-in-law are envious of how portable it is as they have to transport two hard (non-inflatable) kayaks. It supports her and a friend easily. Easy to handle. Easy for her to inflate, and transport. She's considering buying a sail and or the electric motor.

My wife and I received the SE370 as a gift. We have taken it out several times this past summer of 2017 and we love it! We decided to bring it with us on our annual camping trip during the September long weekend in northern Saskatchewan and it performed flawlessly in the water. Friends and family are thinking of getting one for themselves for the reasons of easy setup, portability, and storage. We may get another one so my wife and I will each have one! We are considering purchasing the Quiksail accessory in the future. I highly recommend this product.
