Sea Eagle SE 370 Inflatable Kayaks and Canoe Reviews

I had wanted a kayak but was concerned about storing, transporting and launching as I have a small home, a small car and would need to haul it myself. I found out about inflatable versions and started researching what was available. The Sea Eagle had great reviews and was in my price range. I have had it several months and took it out almost every weekend with my dogs. I am extremely pleased with my purchase. It is not too difficult for me (a woman in her 50's) to get from the house to the car to the lake and back again. It easily fits in the hatch area of my car and takes up very little space. I just stuck it in a corner of my kitchen so that I had easy access to it for our weekend outings. I like how I can position my seat in the back so that my dogs have plenty of room. I also have the second seat if I choose to take a person instead of the pooches!

Our Sea Eagle is good for us because we have a small camper and it fits inside. We also own hard kayaks, but can’t bring them when we camp. Our only complaint is that it does not track smoothly like a hard kayak. Other than that it is durable, easy to set up and convenient to use. I’m glad we purchased it.

Have enjoyed every voyage with my wife, myself and two 22lbs dogs. Been on creeks, a bayou, dune lake and rivers with alligators. I have an electric pump so it pumps up quick and deflates quickly. Only minor con is drying it off before storage. If we use it on salt water, I take it home, inflate it and hose it down with fresh water and let it dry outside.

Very difficult to navigate on a lake. I would return if I could
